Arunachal Pradesh: Khonsa



At an altitude of 3000 feet, the district head quarter of Tirap, the quaint little town Khonsa is located. Nearby Ramkrishna mission and Sarada residential school in Narattom nagar, are imperative attractions of Khonsa.
Cross the Noa- Dihing River, at the border of Arunachal and hit the pretty and petite town, Miyao, encircled by snow clad mountains, situated an elevation of 200 meters. The town is the head quarter of Changlang district.

How to reach: The town is connected by road from its nearest railway station, Naharkatia, Assam. You can also come to Khonsa by road through a beautiful but rugged road hidden in the woodlands from Margarita railway station, lies 120 km away from Khonso.

Where to stay: You can stay at Hotel Raj in Khonso or you can also stay at tourist lodge in Miao.
