It is a city delimited by innumerable charming and mesmeric caves. Plenty of enticing lakes and ancient forts are also scattered in and around the beautiful city of Lonavala. The name of the pretty city has also been derived from the name of a renowned and enamoring Lake. Tiny Lonavala is famous for its wholesome climate. A refreshing breeze placates the soul of every individual here in Lonavala.

The attractive city is pulling crowds in abundance all throughout the year. But, make sure that you don’t visit the pretty Lonavala in the season of monsoon, unless you want to stay indoors and enjoy the rains. It gets crowded mostly in weekends when throngs of visitors flock to Lonavala for a short and nice trip from Mumbai. A lot of wealthy and rich people of Mumbai have come to Lonavala and have erected holiday villas.

Lonavala has always been one of the favorite places for the Bollywood film fraternity.
